In an effort to counter the effects of the Covid-19 virus, Governor Jim Justice announced Monday, March 23 that zoos in West Virginia are to be closed for the next several weeks. The Oglebay Good Zoo is the only AZA accredited zoo in West Virginia. It relies, in part, on admission revenue to meet the $1,200 weekly cost of food for the 400 animals in our care!
