Park Development

The beautifully landscaped, public parks of Wheeling are unsurpassed anywhere in the scope of their facilities and programs. In addition to the dedication of staff and support of the public, this achievement is attributed to the creation and updating of master plans on a regular basis.

With the recent updates and completion of master plans for Oglebay, Good Zoo at Oglebay and Wheeling Park, opportunities exist to fund new development projects. These development projects will provide additional opportunity for recreation and education in the present and for generations to come.
